SoundWheel

I haven't been posting much anything since March of 2021. That's because I have been occupying my free time with selling a house, buying another, staying with my parents for over a month and moving into the new house. If anything stands out in 2021 it's thinking about houses and moving. I am glad that chapter is finally over.
Another thing that has been occupying my thoughts is SoundWheel. At this point in time a web app serving guided meditations also known as sound journeys. It's my most dynamic and interactive client side work yet and I'm very proud to be part of it.

The app is full of smooth transitions and interesting gestures that were hard to get right.

Kristian Humaidan is the founder and maker of the music and guided meditations. Mathias Holm Hansen is responsible for the visual representation and I build the app.
SoundWheel is a client-side only NextJS web app running on Vercel combined with an Node.js + Express backend running on Linode. All content is defined in Sanity.io and gets pulled into the app whenever code is pushed to the repository.
I don't have much more to say other than... Try it! The guided meditations at this point are danish only though but the music is still amazing.
